Greets and hosts casino guests by performing the following duties.
Develops and maintains relationships with guests.
Communicates with guests through telemarketing or written correspondence; monitor player gaming activity through technical systems; arranges special services and awards guest comps based on rated play in accordance with guidelines established by management.
Assist in planning and executing special player parties, promotions, special events and tournaments.
Identifies and educates existing and new players on all levels of the player card program.
Constantly looks for new ideas that will enhance and exceed the casino guest’s experience.
Maintains a professional image and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures to reflect three integrity of the company.
Acts as role model and always presents oneself as a credit to Hollywood Casino and encourages others to do the same.
Requirements
GAMING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Some college preferred. Must have minimum of 2 years experience as Casino Host or similar experience in marketing or sales. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; AS400 and LMS experience preferred.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Mississippi Gaming Commission Work Permit. Must be able to work various shifts, flexible hours and holidays. Must pass appropriate pre-employment drug and background screens.
