Inbound Travel Telesales Representative

Vantage is expanding its team of inbound telesales representatives to meet our continued growth. Join us and you’ll close sales of high-quality travel packages to mature adults on a salary-plus-commission basis. Our pre-qualified inbound callers are motivated to buy in response to catalog, email, and Web offerings. We are a $240 million (revenues) plus and profitable rapidly expanding direct marketing powerhouse which specializes primarily in providing international group travel to Americans over the age of 55, which is currently the fastest growing segment of the U.S. population.
Vantage creates upscale escorted tours to a variety of destinations all over the world, including Canada, Europe, Russia, China, Latin America, and Iceland. All the itineraries are unique to Vantage and provide the customer with a complete package - including airfare, many meals, and comprehensive sightseeing. You will:
· Respond to inbound calls about Vantage trips from past customers and strong prospects
· Achieve sales and quality goals
· Close sales using expert product knowledge and advanced selling skills in which we train you
· Meet & exceed individual conversion, revenue, quality, and productivity goals
· Be a team player and contribute to the overall success of the reservation team
· On-site position; some night and weekend hours required
You’re the right candidate if you have:
· One or more years of sales experience with proven results (commission sales a plus)
· One or more years of travel industry experience desirable but not required
· Proven closing skills and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Basic PC and keyboard skills
· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attain goals, and remain flexible
